A lot of the vitamins in a multi-vitamins are 'water-soluable' meaning that the body will simply flush itself out when too much of this stuff is consumed!. However, some vitamins and minerals, like vitamin A and iron, can do damage to the body if too much is absorbed (vitamin A can potentially do a lot of damage to the liver and a person can experience 'iron poisoning' if too much is consumed)!.

It all depends on how the full the bottle was when you ate them!. If you are worried at all or start feeling funny, I would suggest you head to your Urgent Care unit!. You might feel ridiculous, but they are more than willing to help and would rather you be safe than sorry!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Minerals (especially taken in large doses) can cause side effects such as tooth staining, increased urination, stomach bleeding, uneven heart rate, confusion, and muscle weakness or limp feeling!. Read the label of any multivitamin product you take to make sure you are aware of what it contains!.

Seek emergency medical attention if you think you have used too much of this medicine!. An overdose of vitamins A, D, E, or K can cause serious or life-threatening side effects!. Certain minerals contained in a multivitamin may also cause serious overdose symptoms if you take too much!.
Overdose symptoms may include stomach pain, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, loss of appetite, hair loss, peeling skin, tingly feeling in or around your mouth, changes in menstrual periods, weight loss, severe headache, muscle or joint pain, severe back pain, blood in your urine, pale skin, and easy bruising or bleeding!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Many vitamins are actually safe!. It is becuase they are water soluable and will simply be excreted if not needed!. Other vitamins are fat soluable and can be hazardous in large doses!. The same is true for minerals!. They can cause problems in large doses!.

Often a 1 time occurance of too much at a time won't kill a person but what is that, an entire month or more!? How full was it!? That might have been way too much!. If you can figure out how much you had you might want to call the poinson control center in your area!. They can go over the ingredients and the amounts with you and make a proper determination on what you should do from this point!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It can stunt your growth!. This is very dangerous! I remember a little girl in kinder snuck in vitamins and gave like 5 to all of us kids and we thought it was candy! That is very dangerous!Www@FoodAQ@Com
