Thicken up a cheesecake mix?!


Question: Thicken up a cheesecake mix!?
Can anyone help me!? What do i need to use to thicken up a cheesecake mix (from a packet)!!!!! I used a bit too much milk! I've tried a bit of cornstarch but doesn't seem to work!
Please help, i'd like to have it for my supper!. : )Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you used a non-baking cheesecake mix, then adding flour or cornstarch won't help!. You need to add some cream cheese (at room temperature) and then when it is really soft, add to your mixture!. You might have to add some more sugar, as the cream cheese might tone down the sweetness!.

Try adding some gelatin that's been dissolved in hot water, or some egg whites that have been whisked till they're really stiff, Failing that add some cream cheese that's been mixed mixed with with icing sugar!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
