Eating......?!


Question: Eating!.!.!.!.!.!.!?
I am at work 8 hours daily and i buy food with the other staff, buy i am increasing in wieght alot now, and apperantly i have unbalanced hormones, dont know yet as blood results havent been out yet, what can i cook very quickly at home which can get me full for the 8 hrs of work!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Eating one huge meal to keep you going all day is very unhealthy and nearly impossible!. I would suggest cooking some boneless, skinless chicken breasts on Sunday!. Just salt & pepper on them and bake them in the oven!. Put a couple of them in the freezer for later on in the week and a few in the fridge for the first few days of the week!. Each day make yourself a different lunch!. An asian chicken salad with almonds and orange slices and a sesame soy vinaigrette, a club sandwich, a wrap with goat cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers and lettuce, a spinach salad with mushrooms, chedder, tomatoes!. And if you don't want to eat chicken everyday, buy a can of mixed beans for bean salad, or canned tuna for your salad and sandwiches!. also, If you make dinner at night, make an extra portion for your lunch the next day!. I even make a big batch of tomato sauce and freeze it in tupperware to thaw easily for a meal any day of the week!. Make some extra veggies for dinner the night before, put one of your chicken breasts on top and pour over some tomato sauce!.

I would also suggest bringing snacks!. Healthy snacks help you to eat smaller meals and it keeps your metabolism up!. Veggies, yogurt, fruit, almonds, even air popped popcorn is a greal snack!. I put parmesan on my popcorn!. A little goes a long way and it's better for you than butter!.

You really can't!. What you need to do is bring stuff for work rather than buying food with the rest of the staff; sandwiches, frozen meals, salads, etc!. Things that you can control the portion size and contents!. You will stay full longest if you have a mix of whole grains and protein; a turkey on whole wheat sandwich or a salad with some meat on it will fill you up!. None will last an 8 full hours though, and it isn't good for your body!. Plan ahead and bring your mid-shift meal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I had the same problem for a long time!. I've started packing sandwiches and wraps with a yogurt and a piece of fruit everyday!. So I don't get bored!.!.!.I change up the sandwich choices each week!.!.!.like I do ham and swiss or turkey and pepper jack for a week or so!.!.!.and then I switch!.

also, you can make a huge batch of speghetti or chili that will last the week if you portion it out!. Just use whole wheat speghetti and lean meat in your chili!.

I also love those salad kits you can buy by the lunch meat and cheese section!. You just add lettuce!. I found one with meat, cheese, and dried cranberries that's pretty fab!

There's plenty you could do!.
1!. Do you have a crock pot!? If you do put some meat, a couiple spices and a bit of water or stock in there and turn it on and by the morning you will have fully cooked tasty meat!.
2!. Make things the night before so they'll be ready for the morning
3!. take a couple sandwiches, wraps, salads and waterbottles and eat them throught the day and it should subside you hunger!. But maske sure you eat before and after you work!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
