My mom and sister like warm syrup with their pancakes!. My dad likes room temperature!. I like cold syrup!. They all think I'm nuts and that it "kills the pancakes" because it kills the warmth!?!? What I want to know is who else likes cold syrup!?!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I do - sometimes I even wack a dollop of icecream on the pancake topped with cold maple syrupWww@FoodAQ@Com

I like it cold most of the time and once in a while I like it warm!. It doesn't kill the warmth, the only difference between cold and warm syrup is the consistency, warmer is thinner, and colder is thicker!. Thick or thin they're both rich and both delicious, so you're not crazy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I usually eat my syrup room temp, but I wouldn't mind it hot or cold!. My parents used to keep berry syrup in the fridge!. Thinking back, it was a nice temperature contrast to the hot pancakes/waffles!. Kind of like eating ice cream over a hot dessert!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Warm or cold makes no difference to this old Canadian!. Maple syrup is fine warm, tepid or cold!. As long as it real and not wanna be syrup it shall suffice!. MMMM, Maple Syrup and Beaver Tails, god I'm getting hungry!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

i like cold it gives it!.!.!.i dont really know but i like it better, i think its because of the 2 temps against eachother!.(hot pancakes & cold syrup) most of my family members like it this way too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
