Yeah my mom also gave me the tomato soup with crackers & Ginger Ale!.!.!.but as a treat should would give me toasted bread with butter, with cinnamon, and sugar sprinkled on top!.!.with apple slices!.!.!.it always made me feel better!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Crackers, Toast, Lemon Echinachia juice, Orange juice, Cherry juice!. Because we are Italian she would make a soup that my grandmother taught her to make in Sardinia with little pasta and many vegetables and this kind of meat!.!.!.So tasty!.

When I lived with my mom it was tea and toast, maybe some grapes if we were feeling up to it!. When I lived with my dad when I was a teen I got strep throat all the time!. He would get me as many slurpees from 7-11 as I wanted!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My mom would take a whole carton chicken broth and boil it with frozen spinach, frozen peppers & pieces of chicken - certainly helped me a lot!Www@FoodAQ@Com
