Why are green olives always sold in unsealed jars. The tops never pop and they dont have a plastic seal.?!

Question: Why are green olives always sold in unsealed jars!. The tops never pop and they dont have a plastic seal!.!?
I am shocked that no one else has seen this problem!. I have stopped buying olives because I can never find sealed ones!. I've bought olives at Wal-Mart, Price Chopper, Wegmans, and many other grocery stores!. The tops always "look" sealed (the top seems to dimple inward) but when I open them, there is no "thwaaaapp!" sound and the lid looks the same as if the top never popped, just stays dimpled downward!. I never see this problem with other jarred goods such as pickles, sauce, etc!.!.!. just green olives!.!.!.

If you have found sealed olives please let me know the brand and what store you bought them at!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I purchase mine at the wal-mart supercenter and not only are they sealed but they have a plastic outer seal around the rim of the top as well!. We eat olives every day from Kalamata to garlic stuffed and green olives!.
Try grabbing from the back of the shelf!. We've never gotten ill from any of the brands or types of olives we have purchased!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Personally I love green olives!. But I thing the majority of the population feels as though they are unappealling enough on their own so to tamper with them further would just be a waste of time!. True terrorists would probably choose to contaminate a more popularly eaten item!. So the olives are safe!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I buy them at Kroger, and they always pop! I just get whatever brand is the best price, for what I want! !.!.!.!. although, I prefer to get fresh olives at the olive bar at Kroger instead!. If you're only shopping at "discount" grocery stores, their stock might be older!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yeah it happens to me to i acually bought a jar yesterday and their was no seal darn!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
