yes i do all the time but i wish i had all microwavable containers because it does not seem to heat the food evenly!. i have some china that has been accidently been put in there and it has silver around the edges and it makes sparks like a fork does, but we dont use them enough only when company is overWww@FoodAQ@Com

I wouldn't use metal containers (or crockery with metallic decoration), but I tend to assume that if a container survives being microwaved, it is "microwavable"!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes and for the most part nothing happens!. I do know that with my new microwave I can not use plastic plates in it, they melt!. Pretty cool though!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

But did you know that putting plastic in the microwave puts toxic fumes in your food!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

No - I don't trust them!. They might have bad chemicals or get too hot or melt!. I'd rather just use a paper towel if I have nothing else!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
