Road Tasted with the Neely's on Food Network...?!

Question: Road Tasted with the Neely's on Food Network!.!.!.!?
So Pat & Gina Neely from the new show Down Home with the Neely's is taking over the Road Tasted show formerly hosted by the Deen Boys!. Does anyone find this progression ironic as I do!?!?!? I mean the Deen Boys while hosting Road Tasked went to the Neely's in Nashville, met Pat and Gina (who really have the store in Memphis), took them to their Momma (Paula) who got them their own show and now they have added another show and basically knocked off the two people who really started their careers!.!.!.I can only imagine how mad they are!.!.!.however, they would have NEVER been on T!.V!. if it weren't for old Paula in the first place!.!.!.please share your thoughts!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
First of all, that wasn't why they got thier own show!. The food network wasn't showing a balance of ethnic faces!. It became the lilly white, let's all look like models thing!. People complained, said they wanted people who are real, down to earth, relateable!. I think they are a great and refreshing change!. Honestly, I am getting tired of the fake south thing, please, give it a break already, and ditto for the brainless barbi doll they have!. Basta!. They need more true chefs, less personalities!. No more I am so great!. Its a snore and will cost them ratings!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well!.!. !.how do you or I know if Bobby and Jamie didn't decide to not renew their contract for this show!?!? That is a possibility!.!.!. how did Paula have anything to do with them getting their own show!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Maybe the Deen Boys are going to do something different!.
I liked watching them though, they are very cute!. And I love watching Paula, she is so much fun!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Low ratings from "Paula Deans's Boys" prompted The Food Network to change the hosts, plus the one boy is married now, so that might've helped the situation along!. Despite negative early reviews of the Neely's, once viewers got to know them (despite their limited venue of food knowledge) they were a hit! People fell in love with their family, love for each other and personal repertoire on TV, add in the fact that they have several award winning restaurants and ARE in fact, great hosts on TV!. These are just my opinions though mixed with facts that have been posted on Food Sites and MSNBC!. Each show runs their course, hosts and food trends, only do the truly talented last as long as our favorites! So, this is me, sharing my thoughts for the day!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
