Answers:
Breakfast: 1 (or 2) egg any style, glass of V8 juice

Lunch: Large salad with 4 -5 oz of fish or chicken on top, olive oil and balsamic vinegar dressing, a few almonds or walnuts sprinkled on top!. Strawberries and lowfat plain yogurt with splenda!.

Dinner: grilled chicken breast, sauteed broccoli with olive oil, garlic and slivered almonds or pine nuts, brown rice or rice blend with other grains!.

An alternative to eggs for breakfast is plain oat meal with a tablespoon of almond butter (not butter at all) and a teaspoon of splenda!. Almond butter also tastes good mixed with ricotta cheese, vanilla extract and splenda!.

Excellent question!. I have Celiac Disease (an intolerance to glutein which is found in wheat, rye and barley) so I can eat none of the traditional baked goods like cookies, cakes breads and pies!. It was HELL giving that stuff up at first!.

The reason those simple carbs are so hard to give up is that they are converted to glucose in your body very quickly and so you get a "sugar high" from that food!. That is just to say that you get a feeling of satisfaction, a release from hunger and craving when you eat that stuff!. Plus your mouth is happy!

Back off of that stuff slowly and you are most likely to find a new way of eating that will be satisfying!. I now eat mostly meat and vegetables with some potatoes and rice!. I don't even care for the sweetness of fruit, but I have been doing this for fifteen years!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Switch to whole grain bread, brown rice and sweet potatoes!.
