Food Avoidence.?!


Question: Food Avoidence!.!?
AHH! I'm trying to lose weight but its killing me!! there are so many temptations!.!. !.i feel like i wanna have 3 hotdogs and 4 slices of pizza!.!.!.

Any advice on avoiding the temptations!? I see them everywhere!.

Indulge one meal a week!.

If you've been craving a hot dog, on Sunday have one hot dog for lunch!.

Next week, if you are craving pizza, have one slice of pizza Sunday for lunch!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I know what you mean, everytime you turn on the tv there is food shows, food recipes, restaraunt commercials, and easy as it is for some people to reccomend a little self control it IS hard when you are trying to do better!.
One thing that i found to help when I was trying to lose weight is, when I am home I turn on the stereo instead of the Tv, it makes me wanna do housework, or a project I had been trying to accomplish!.

call a friend and goto the zoo, its fun, and good exercise!.

as far as the actual FOOD goes, i kept things on hand that are low in calories, like celery, and carrots, and big kosher pickles, cucumbers with onions, and vinegar is a GREAT snack, esp if you crave salty foods like me!. if you are hungry HAVE a snack, because if yo uhold out you are prob gonna crash, just try to make better choices!.

Our old-time family doctor said the best diet was to eat everything you wanted, but half as much - and the best exercise was pushing yourself away from the table! !.!.!.!. If you let yourself eat some of what you really want, then you wont binge later!. I got some Hebrew National fat-free Kosher hot dogs the other day, that were only 45 calores! Just don't eat the bun:) Wrap them in Romaine lettuce instead!.!.!.!.!.!. Be creative!. Eat a little of what you want, and then fill up on the really healthy stuff (instead of overstuffing on the "bad" things)Www@FoodAQ@Com

i have that same problem!.!.!.it's all about self control and self discipline!.!.!.everytime i have a hard time with resisting temptation for seconds and thirds, i just look at one of those women who has those tight abs that i want (one day) and that helps a little!. however, i sometimes remind myself that making a pig of myself is never necessary and could cause me great harm in the long run!.!.!.and not just being overweight!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I hear ya!!!! I'm fighting the afternoon snack mania myself!.

I just try to stay out of the are where food is!. I also find tea helps!. You can also try things that fill you without a lot of calories, fresh fruit and vegetables or popcorn!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

try to eat something good and good
such as low fat yogurt (i taste no difference)
chicken ceaser salad (mmm!.!.!.!.)
fruits

if you still cant get them off you're mind try
eating pizza with less or no meat vegetables
and eat less or try to eat more often so eat
normally (dont stuff you're self) but eat every couple of hours
instead of stuffing you're self then eating again 6-8

Drink water! Or Crystal Light!. Snack on nuts, or when you feel a craving eat a spoon of peanut butter!. You can also brush your teeth or take a nap!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

try being a vegitarian!. think of the animal cruelty and how they slaughter them!. and pretend your severly alergic to cheese or something!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
