In a sense yes it is "moldy" cheese, but actually its not moldy, as in past its used by date, the cheese manufacturers, inject the cheese with bacteria during the maturing processWww@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, it is a type of mold!. It's helpful to your system, though, and not bad for you!. It won't make you sick generally, but if you are pregnant, don't eat any soft cheeses (such as Blue or Brie) because of the risk of lysteria!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
