Where can i buy pickled radish?!
I really WANT TO TRY PICKLED RADISH FOR SOME REASON, AND HAVE NO IDEA WHERE I CAN BUY IT!. DOES ANYONE KNOW where i casn buy it!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

This really depends on what city you are living in!.!.!. I m in NYC and I usally get my pickled radish from my local asian market!.(We have plenty of asian markets here!)
I am a big fan of pickled radish!.!.!. so much infact that i make it on my own at home
In case you dont have the convience of a near by asian market, perhaps you might want to try this recipe out!
This recipe was passed down to me by my grandmother who use it make this back home in China!.
We use DAIKON radish, which looks like a white carrot But larger!

Its a simple recipe and very delicious!
===INGREDIENTS===
1 1/2 cups chopped daikon
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)
===DIRECTIONS===
In a mixing bowl, toss daikon with salt!. Cover, and refrigerate until 1 to 2 tablespoons of water is released, about 30 minutes!.
Drain and rinse daikon, removing as much salt as possible!.
Pat dry with a paper towel, and return to bowl!.
Stir in rice vinegar, black pepper and, if desired, sesame oil!.
Cover, and refrigerate at least 8 hours!.
ITS THAT SIMPLE!

I'd think that it might be in the refrigerated specialty items (maybe gourmet cheeses) !.!.!.!. or near the tofu products !.!.!. or near the pickled herring, etc!. in the refrigerated sectionWww@FoodAQ@Com
Go to a asian market!. I'm sure you can find some pickled diakon there!.
