Peas are seeds!.!.!.so much for that stupid rule about vegetables not having seeds

squash and cucumbers have seeds, and they're not fruits

bananas have no seeds and they're not vegetables

My general thinking is that fruits are usually sweet (or sweet and sour);
and vegetables are usually earthy or bland or savoury

Fruit is a general term for all that has seeds in them!. Bananas have seeds so it is a fruit!. However, bitter gourd (ampalaya) is considered a vegetable and it has seeds!.

Tomatoes are genrally considered fruit but when we use them for cooking and mix it with vegetables, that's the time we consider it a vegetable!. Not to mention, tomatoes grow from shrubs and not trees!. So I think it depends on the purpose that you would consider something a fruit or vegetable!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
