Answers:
It's safe!. The salmonella scare is only with RAW veggies!. Anything in a jar or can is fully cooked!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Has it been stashed in the fridge!?!? If so it should still be good!. Refridgeration prevents a lot of disasters!. also the stuff was cooked at some point in the long distant past so it can't have picked up salmonella when you first opened it!. Cooking kills the salmonella germs!.

You can reheat it in the microwave in a micro safe container to boiling point to make sure if you are skittish!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You sent a food item to get tested!.

The test came back positive!?

And you kept the food!?!

I think you might want to edit, because your information doesn't make sense!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
