Is using Zip N Steam Bags safe?!
I recently heard that the bags of microwave popcorn in fact did cause a man to get cancer (however, he was eating two bags of microwave popcorn, which is a little excessive)!. But nonetheless, cancerous causing!. So are those same chemicals or whatever in the zip n steam bags!? I probably use them once or twice a week!. Are they safe!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Any amount of plastic heated in the microwave deposits small amounts of chemicals onto the food!. This is why you should not reheat food in plastic containers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
There is no supported truth that microwave popcorn causes cancer!. The possibility that people who eat microwaved food will develop cancer are as true as people who have cancer have eaten microwaved food!. As long as the bag is a microwave safe (non-toxic) zip and steam bag, you are O!.K!. We have used steam bags for 15 years in the restaurant and not one of my regulars have died of microwave induced cancer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
No everyday person knows for sure the risks for cancer from plastic products!. You can be a worrywart and be as cautious as possible, and still die of something immediate!. Don't use it if it makes you worry!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
