Do Huckleberries grow in Alberta? If so, where?!

Question: Do Huckleberries grow in Alberta!? If so, where!?
Answers:
I am a former chef and if there are any in the province and I would imagine there are some, they grown along mountian fields and wooded areas going up mountian sides, around Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper and the areas at the based of the Rocky Mountians!.

If you were to find them, maybe in the open air markets in Calgary in the fall, and we here would be likely to called them wild blueberries over the U!.S huckleberry term, I worked in Alberta many years ago in Edmonton and got wild blueberries from suppliers that were from Alberta, it would be a hit and miss thing, try the country fairs, weekend veg/fruit markets in and around Calgary in the late summer early fall when they are more available, the bears like them too, so if you go searching for them be aware that the person behind you with the fur coat might be upset your in his/her berry patch, they are very protective of those and there young!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
