Hey, cool question!.!.!. the cheese puff does it on its own!. The ingredients in a cheese puff are all mixed together under high pressure and a little heat!. The machine forces out the mixture through an extruder!. When the puff comes out, it's own pressure causes it to puff up!. The extruder has a blade that spins that cuts it off to the right size!.
