Absolutely! Popcorn is a whole grain and like other whole grains has lots of health benefits!. Limiting butter and salts makes it really good for you!.
May I suggest a couple things to do with your popcorn!? If you dont like butter and salt try new ways to eat it!.
Dark chocolate is great for health, add some chunck of dark chocolate (or even dark choc!. M&Ms) in with your hot popcorn, it will give it a great flavor (add just a pinch of salt to bring out the sweetness of the chocolate)!. You can always use milk chocolate this way too but its not that healthy!.
Try using fresh popped popcorn and mixing it with some nuts and dried fruits, add a bit of honey or maple syrup to the mixture!. I usually make this in big bowls for movie night!. The nuts have all the good fats you need for your body and the dried fruits are full of vitamins and minerals!.
You can also melt some cheese over your popcorn!. Grate some high calcium cheese of choice (I love monteray jack with cheddar to make nacho popcorn) and add it directly to your popcorn while hot!. It should melt (if it doesnt pop it in the micrwave for 15 seconds) and it will be very good for you! For the nacho popcorn, which my kids love, I sometimes also add in veggies like peppers and onions!. It takes really good!
If you do want some buttery flavor, use a margarine made from non-hyfrogenated expellar pressed oils, I prefer Smart Balance light!. Just melt in the microwave and pour over!. Not really!. If you take dried corn and pop it like its traditionally done, you just ate corn!. The myth of popcorn being healthy is the fact that when you eat them 'au natural' it has no fat content!. Popcorn today is rather salty and very fattening because of the butter!. It could be very sweet as in caramel popcorn!.!.!.

well beacause of all the chemicals in regular popcorn (that u get from like the movies) definatly not!.
but if u have/get a home popcorn maker than it is!.
if u eat it in moderation!.
i have a home one!. its so nice to take it out and use it!. i hate movie theater popcorn!. but thats just me!. i am really a heath freak so i am not sure if it counts!. but if u really wanted to what know the HEATHIEST snack was!.!. well i'd have to say vegies!. or fruit!. OMG! i love fruit!. sorry i am really hungry!. lol
anyways cos they dont have any gluiten, sugar (well natural), chemicals, nothing!. as long as u get the organic stuff your good to go!.
