some playdough like food to decorate some biscuits!. anyone know what this sort of food is called- i didnt get a chance to find out- i did look at the packet but nothing was on it!. just a green circle sticker!.

It could be a number of things!. I wonder if possibly you are British and what you call biscuits, I, an American, would call cookies!. If that is the case, it could have been either marzipan, which is made from almond paste and sugar, or fondant, which is made from cornsyrup, powdered sugar, and flavoring!. If it was biscuits as in buttermilk biscuits, then it quite possibly could have been biscuit dough dyed with food coloring!. Playdough, as we know it, is simply a basic unleavened dough!. If you were to make it at home, it would probably be made from rice flour, salt, and water!. Hope this helps!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
