This is a bar of stainless steel, but if you use it instead of soap when trying to get rid of the smell of onions etc, this is brilliant!! don't ask me how it works, but it is really good, and whats more, it lasts forever!.!.!.!.I've had mine for about 5 years!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I wash my hands with soap and water and then cut a lemon and squeeze the lemon juice and oils from the lemon rind all over my hands and this usually does the trick!. If it doesn't take all the smell away then I take an exfoliating soap and really scrub my hands good with the exfoliating beads to get the scent to go away!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

no matter how much you scrub your poor hand they will be smelling for days on end
you can buy hand wash which helps reduce the smell of unpleasant foods from your hands

i think its carex that has a hand wash out which says on the bottle, will remove food smells from your hand

lemon juice!. you could also try epsom salt for a mild exfoliant, that would also help remove the smell!. dilute the lemon juice though, it has skin lightening qualities and you don't want your hands a different color that the rest of you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I typically use lemon juice!. I've also read that rubbing them on dry stainless steel--such as most kitchen sinks--helps remove the smell!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can get a kitchen item called 'metal soap' its used for scrubbing strong smells off your hands!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
