I left my leftovers out, but in the box, yesterday until today. Is it safe to eat?!

Question: I left my leftovers out, but in the box, yesterday until today!. Is it safe to eat!?
I had teriyaki chicken yesterday for lunch, but I forgot to take the leftovers home to keep in my fridge!. It's been sitting on my desk since then!. Is it still good or safe to eat!? Or should I throw it out!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
You definitely need to throw it out!. I worked in a restaurant for quite a while and food needs to be kept either above or below specific temperatures for it to be safe!. Especially with chicken you run the risk of it becoming infected with something like Salmonella!. Unless you want to spend an uncomfortable night in the emergency room, I would not eat it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it depends on the temperature on your office, like in my house its a little cold inside so sometimes i dont need to put everything on the fridge, but i think you should check, but if theres anything strange throw it, even more because anyone, could have touched or done anything to itWww@FoodAQ@Com

It is differently not safe to eat it but you could hide it somewhere in a coworker desk you don't like!.Make sure you come to work early to see the reactions of your coworker and put it on you tubeWww@FoodAQ@Com
