Does the sodium content of foods such as pickles include the liquid they are packed in?!

Question: Does the sodium content of foods such as pickles include the liquid they are packed in!?
Answers:
They do not!. Nutritional analysis includes the food portion of a serving and does not include "packaging material" unless it is meant to be consumed!. Pickle juice is not meant to be consumed as part of the pickle!.

You know this because the "serving size" is not a weight (which could include the juice), it is "one pickle"!. Thus, this is what the sodium is based on!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No, it's the actual food you will consume!. It's not expected that you'd consume the liquid in most cases!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

NO, THAT'S JUST IN THE FOOD ITSELF!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
