I thought it was up to your parents to shop for food!. Eat what they buy and maybe find a way to dress the food up so that it tastes better and you will want to eat it!. If they don't buy good food, ask them to buy better food!.

Right now unless eating junk food is really affecting you, I wouldn't worry so much since you are a kid!. Enjoy life!.
My almost 14 yr old niece eats everything and she is very thin but we told her that my family (her mom included) was thinner like her and ate whatever when we were younger too but once 30 hit, it started becoming harder to keep the weight off!. So when you get to about mid 20s, then start being more cautious!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you should take a look at a food pyramid, you should try eating some fruits or veggitables instead of junk food, but if you did have a craving for something salty or crunchy i would recomend popcorn because you need some starch everyday!. some meats that i would recomend are steak, chicken, fish, or pork, but those are just some of my favorites!. as for breads, you should always order whole grain!. the oil you need every day you can get from the meats you eat!. you can look in some books for healthy choices!. im going through the same thing right now, i eat unhealthy foods but im at the perfect weight for my age!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, lucky charms has many marshmallows, and they aren't exactly healthy!. For lunch you should perhaps have something rather basic like chicken salad, or a sandwich!. For dinner, don't have something too complicated, just stick with the basic healthy options i!.e battered fish and chips, or pasta!. Something easy to make and basic because most basic foods are healthy ,and don't have much fat in them!.
Just keep away from the junk!. Instead of having a chocolate bar as a snack, try a cereal bar or carrot sticks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cook boneless skinless chicken breasts in a skillet with a little oil about 4 minutes per side on medium heat!. Add one chopped onion, cook briefly and add 1 cup of chicken broth!. Cook about 3 minutes then add one jar of spaghetti sauce!. Turn heat to low, cover and let simmer until chicken is done, approximately 20 minutes!. Meanwhile, cook some spaghetti following directions on the box!. Drain the pasta and serve the chicken and sauce over the pasta!. Bagged salad and some Italian bread complete the meal!. This is not my recipe – another member of the YA community posted it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i think you should try eating some carnitas some carne asada!. or try eating beans and i think cereal is healthy!. i sure know that lucky charms are so delicious mmmm!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You need to be eating : good carbs (fruits, vegetables - yes these are carbs - grains, seeds, nuts, legumes), healthy/lean proteins, and healthy fats, plus lots of filtered or spring water!.

Try things like:
- Healthy Carbs: whole grain cereals (raisin bran, Kashi brand cereals, shredded wheat, Great Grains, Honey Bunches of Oats, Banana Nut Crunch - some are sweetened but they're better than Lucky Charms which are NOTHING BUT sugar - very bad for you), Oatmeal, Brown Rice, Whole Grain Bread, Whole Wheat Pancake mix (You can eat that with sugar-free jam or honey), whole wheat waffles, whole wheat pita, whole wheat tortillas (regular is fine not that bad but still processed), Fresh fruits and vegetables!.

- Healthy Proteins - Lean meats (trim the fat off before cooking), Beans, Nuts, Eggs, Seeds

- Healthy Fats - Olive oil, avacodo, nuts, flax seed (ground), fish (salmon, etc!.)

Make:
- Black Bean Quesadillas (look up the recipes) with guacamole
- Bean Burritos (with Red Beans, olive oil, lettuce, tomato, cheese is o!.k!. but not all the time, sourcream but not all the time)
- Make a salad with grilled chicken (or breaded and pan fried in olive oil - not a bad fat - lettuce or fresh spinach - the darker green the better, tomatoes, carrot shreds or shavings, cheddar cheese - it's o!.k!. in moderation, cucumbers, ranch dressing, turkey bacon crumbled or bacon bits - not the worst thing in the world, ranch dressing and whole grain toast cut into squares to make croutons)
- Chili (boil the ground beef in salted water first to get out fat, drain) with beans and a baked potatoe with chives and whatever else (no butter)
- Sandwhiches on whole grain bread with a little mayo, turkey, swiss, lettuce, tomatoes, sprouts maybe
- falafels (yum - lookup the recipe - you can freeze the chickpea balls to warm up)
- Chickpea burgers (lookup recipe)
- Turkey burger on whole wheat bun with sweet potatoe oven fries (just cut swt pttos toss in olive oil, salt, pepper, bake on 400 degrees until golden)
- Smoothies (frozen fruit, yogurt, water, sweetner - you can choose honey, oranges, bananas, pineapples - the best is frozen pinapple - freeze it yourself - a little water and sweetner - not honey - and a teaspoon or two of lemon juice in a blender!.!.!. like a frozen ice cream)
- Yogurt with some fruit and granola
- Whole wheat spagetti or pasta with pasta sauce and veggies or meat sauce (boil the meat first)
- Buffalo wing salad:
grill the chicken then toss in hot sauce and add to romaine lettuce, celery and carrot shreds/shavings with blue cheese dressing (they sell blue cheese dressing from Wishbone or something)
- All Natural Peanut Butter (Smuckers makes good natural P!.B!.) with all natural, unsweetened jam on whole grain bread with some milk or almond milk or rice milk (soy milk and soy is bad for you - google it!.!.!. it will mess with your hormones in a bad way and may cause infertility)
- Whole grain Thomas's English muffins with jam
- Whole wheat bagels with cream cheese (in moderation)
- Buy a juicer and try fresh juices from vegetables and fruits (carrot, apple, ginger is a really good fresh juice combo)
There you goWww@FoodAQ@Com
