What does pig blood come in? Jars? Packets?!
I'm talking about getting this straight from butchers!. What I want to know is WHAT DOES IT COME IN!? If anyone has ever bought it, that would help a ton! I know all about blood/black pudding/sausage and all that good stuff, but I'm not talking about that!. And yes, there are people who drink it straight (NOT me)!. Gross question, I know!. I don't care if that is your only response!. :P Thanks in advance!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am a former chef from Canada and I have bought it here in Canada, Toronto On to be exact and in the Chinatown area, it comes in a large plastic container like yougart or potato salad would be packed in, and is not expensive, I paid less that $3!.00 C for 2 pounds, and I make a Scottish type of blood sausage with ground pork, pin oatmeal and cooked barley groats, I fry my onions and use allspice, nutmeg and thyme in my seasoning and a bit of milk powder!.
I am lucky I have found a butcher supply house that sells collegen casing, but even rolling it in plastic wrap and chilling it and slicing or steaming to firm up and the fry up the lot, if you need any pointer or other help let me know via e-mail!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

since they doubtfully sell much of it, it probably varies from butcher to butcher, and you will probably have to call a local butcher to find out how they would sell it to you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It comes with the pork you buy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
