Are negative calorie foods for real?!

Question: Are negative calorie foods for real!?
Wikipedia says that it is a false claim!. But I've found other websites that tell you how many calories are required to digest the food!. I would especially appreciate professional opinons!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
NO, because calories is a unit of energy and everything has energy in some formWww@FoodAQ@Com

If "negative calorie" foods were a concept with any validity, all herbivores (including human vegetarians) would have imploded by now!. They eat "negative calorie" foods day in and day out!. If it required more energy to digest them than they provided to the body, herbivore animals (and vegetarian human beings) would all be dead, because they would NOT be receiving any food energy/calories!.

Although fruits and veggies are definitely good for you, they DO have calories!.

Such is life!.

The "negative calorie foods" myth has been perpetuated by "pro ana" type websites (those promoting eating disorders)!. But it is precisely that:

a myth!.

there is no actual negative calorie food, but it is just a term for anything that has less calories than it takes to chew, swallow, and digest them!. Wikipedia is being literal!. There are very few things that fall under this category such as celery and ice water!. Not much thoughWww@FoodAQ@Com

Not really!.The closest thing for me is taking several small sips of Apple Cider Vinegar throughout the day!.It will accelerate the metabolic rate, and act as a Diuretic!.For the best info on dieting, go to http://www!.naturalnews!.com and enter dieting in the search box at the top of the page!.Hope this helps !Www@FoodAQ@Com
