Answers:
You can try wrapping them up in newspapers and keeping them in the tray meant for Fruit and Vegetables!.
It has worked for my family since my grandmother's time - 50 years!.
And do not wash them when you bought it back from the supermarket, etc!. Just wrap them up with the newspapers and store them!.

Do you keep them in the bag or take them out and wash them!? Do you keep them on the shelf or in the crisper box of the fridge!? I keep mine in the crisper and have had much success!. I keep my fridge pretty cold also!. This is going to sound crazy but when you cut your fruits and vegetables, don't cut through the "heart" of it unless you are going to use the whole thing!. The "heart" can be the core of an apple, the seedy inside part of a bell pepper, etc!. When you cut through the "heart" of it, it spoils quickly!. I learned this from a raw food vegan!. It's crazy but true! Just cut a little from the outside, place the smooth side down when you store it!. It will form a film over it to protect the inside, trim that off when you want to use it again and the rest is still fresh!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
