Frozen butter??!!?!


Question: Frozen butter!?!?!!!?
My partner was obviously not thinking straight when he put the butter in the freezer last night!!!! I found it today, will it be okay to eat or do I have to throw it out!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

It will thaw out just fine!. If it's sticks of real butter, it might be slightly more crumbly later, but it will taste exactly the same!.!.!.!.!.!.!. In fact, I've known people who buy butter in quantity (on sale) and freeze it!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Of course it's okay !.!.!. please don't throw it out!.

Both butter and margarine can be frozen, and sometimes when butter is on sale, I buy extra and put it in the freezer!.

It'll be fine!.!.!.
Just leave it out at room temp or put it in the microwave for 10 secs at a time until soft enough (take it out of its wrapper if its in the foil type wrapper)

Shouldn't be an issue!. We buy extra butter when it is on sale and freeze it!. Never had a problem!.

No problem - in fact, if you make garlic or herb butter, it actually says in the recipe you can freeze ot to store it if you make too muchWww@FoodAQ@Com

Be OK often freeze mine if I find near dated reduced in price and purchase two or three packets I put them in the freezer till I need oneWww@FoodAQ@Com
