What is the cheese spread that comes in a mason jar called?!

Question: What is the cheese spread that comes in a mason jar called!?
When I was a kid my Grandmother used to have this awesome cheese she would buy and it came in a mason jar!. I haven't had it in maybe 10 or 15 years but it was really really good and I am pretty sure it was something you would order from a catalog!. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and what it's called and where I can get it!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
