Any food can be frozen!. I find some things shouldn't sour cream being one of them!. My mother used to freeze everything and I mean everything, and have learned from her mistakes!. I have found that sour cream breaks apart and needs to be stirred back together!. You can stir it back together, but it won't have the texture you expect if you put it on a baked potato, or use it in a dip!. Good luck to you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you are using it for baking, go ahead!. It will have a consistency closer to cottage cheese than sour cream once thawed!. The use time will be 5-7 days, depending on your refrigerator temperature and whether or not it takes a day or two to thaw completely in your refrigerator!. I only use it after freezing for baked cheesecakes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Oh goodness NO , sour cream doesn't freeze well!. Not worth wasting money just cuz it's on sale!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

no i won't reccomend it,will loose it's favor and taste like ****!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
