Watering down whole milk...?!
Is it true that by watering down whole milk (the one with the blue lid) you can make it into semi-skimmed milk or something similar to semi-skimmed milk!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
Obviously if you water down the milk, you'll be reducing the fat (and also the calcium and other nutrients) proportionately!. If you dilute it by 1/3, then you'd be diluting everything else by 1/3 too (since the water doesn't have any fat - nor does it have any nutritional value) !.!.!.!.!.!.!.Ridiculous answer before to buy soy milk! Soy milk also comes in 1%, 2% and whole milk!Www@FoodAQ@Com
you cant make it into semi skimmed milk no!.!.!.!.
however as you have watered down the milk logic tells us then that over a period of time your fat intake is reduced dependant upon the amount of water you use and the length of time that that particular amount of milk is consumed in relation to the amount of normal milk used!.
ie!.
use 2 pints of milk a day = x amount of fat per day consumed
use 2 pints per day that has had the same amount of water as milk added = x amount of fat divided by 2Www@FoodAQ@Com
