How do you get the smell of fish out of the microwave?!
Hi i cooked some fish in my microwave yesterday and when i used the microwave again today it sooo stinks! so now my house stinks too how can i get rid of the smell!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cut a lemon in half, pop it in a bowl with some water and microwave it for a few minutes and bing! Nice fresh smelling microwave!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Two things that work well!.!.!.first wipe the microwave with lemon juice!. let it sit for 5 minutes then wipe down!. Easier take a cup of white vinegar and boil it in the microwave!. Shut the microwave off and leave it in there until it cools!. The smell will be gone!. You can use this in the kitchen also if you cook fish in/on the stove!. You just boil the vinegar on top of the stove for 5 minutes and it takes the smell out of the air!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Any proprietary kitchen cleaner should help!. Particularly a citrus one!. Just a word of warning, the panel inside that appears to be made of paper or light cloth DO NOT CLEAN! thats where the microwaves emenate from and you don't want to damage it!. After cleaning it properly (see your user guide as to which bits you can pull out) Lemon juice in a bowl of water boiled inthere for a minute or 2 will get rid of any lingering smell of fish or cleaning product!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
well its not easy but if you wash it with vinegar or a mild cleaning agent (no harmful chemicals cuz its not a well vented space and will contaminate you food) um there's not a whole lot you can do but really just leave the microwave open to vent out is best (my gf says to spray the house with air fresheners)Www@FoodAQ@Com
take a damp rag ,pour on some apple cider vinegar,set in the microwave and turn on high for 1 min!.allow to set inside for another minute or 2!.
when done!. wipe the interior with the rag!.Be sure to wipe the the top inside!.
if it has a plate Id remove it first and wash in the sink!.
the steam,will break up and soften any baked on stuff and the vinegar will deodorize the smell!.

Put a cat in the Microwave!.

lemon juice and water in a bowl and about 4-5 minutes!. boil cinnomon sticks in water for at least an hout or a little less to get the smell out of your house!. or the powder will work also!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
