My power was out for 3 and a half hours, do I need to throw out my milk?!

Question: My power was out for 3 and a half hours, do I need to throw out my milk!?
I had to open the door a couple of times to get the kids juice!. I have milk and yogurt drinks in there and I don't know if that was too long or not!. Should I throw them out!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
They are probably fine now, but will probably go bad sooner than usual!. Drink it up in the next couple days!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you have lots of money to replace them, by all means open them pour a little bit out of the container then toss the rest of it as it has been exposed to air as soon after buying them as possible!.

NO!! unless they got hot they are still good!. Take a tiny sip, poured into a spoon and taste it!.

I have had the power out for a week and as long as the fridge was not opened for more than was absolutely necessary everything stayed good!.

Do not waste good food just because the power was out a minimal amount of time!. When the milk becomes tainted it has a distinct flavor!. And touching your tongue to it will let you know but will not harm you or the kids!.

What is yogurt!?!? it is spoiled milk!!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

As long as they still felt very cool to the touch when the power came back on they should be fine!. It's usually only when they get close to room temp that you have to worry!.
I would use them up soon though just to be safe!. Milk will taste very sweet just before it sours so that's a tip-off to hurry and use up!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No; your milk is fine unless it actually got warm!. Same for all the other stuff!. Just because it's not under power all the time doesn't mean it went bad!. After all, your fridge shuts off for many minutes at a time all day long, assuming it's running right!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i've left milk out over night, i put it back in the fridge and it will go bad quicker but your 3!.5 hours wont make a difference!. you will know when the milk is gone spoiled theres no doubt about itWww@FoodAQ@Com

If you are icked out by warm soda, throw it out!. There is further examples at the link below!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

They are fine dear!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Milk won't become poisonous like fish!. If your nose says OK, then test with your taste!. If that's OK, then it's all good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's fine!. My power went out for about 7 hours one night due to a storm, and the milk was fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It should be ok!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
