Is unsalted Butter still usable if it's been frozen?!

Question: Is unsalted Butter still usable if it's been frozen!?
I just discovered I accidently put a 250g block of margarine in the freezer!. It's from the last time I went shopping, which was about a week ago!. (I was in a hurry when putting the food away lol)

If I defrost it, would it still be usable for baking!? (which is what I use it for anyway)
It's in one of those foil type wrappersWww@FoodAQ@Com

Oh sure! I know a lot of people who buy butter in bulk and just freeze it!. All you need to do is thaw it out in the fridge overnight!. Freezing it doesn't change the composition of butter and will not affect your baking as long as you let it thaw out in the fridge BEFORE softening it (so in other words, don't just plop it on the counter to thaw!. In my experience this has resulted in some weird textures and sometimes it doesn't blend in very smoothly)!. If you are melting it, you should be able to just stick it in the microwave!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

So is it Butter or Margarine!. Either is OK if frozen and thawed!.

Please don't bake with margarine as the result is lousy tasting baked goods!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Oh yes! I buy butter all the time when it's on sale and stock up by storing it in my freezer!. Both salted and unsalted are fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Absolutely!Www@FoodAQ@Com
