How can I prevent frostbite on ice cream?!

Question: How can I prevent frostbite on ice cream!?
Answers:
First, put a piece of plastic wrap (or the plastic wrap that comes on the top of some kinds) down tight on the surface of the ice cream!. Air is your enemy! Putting the ice cream in a zip top bag helps too!. Squeeze out as much air as you can!.

Keep it in the coldest part of your freezer which is usually the bottom area!. also do not keep it on the door! The door temp isn't as stable as on the shelves and melting and refreezing contributes to your "frost bite"!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Check the date when you buy it, buy fresh!. Make sure it stays at a constant temp with minimal air exposure!. When you pull it out make sure to put it back fast and with the lid secure!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Keep it in a paper bag in your freezer!. and make sure every time you put it back in the freezer that you fold the paper bag down so that moisture doesn't get in!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Buy a flavor you love as it tends to get eaten faster!.

Buy smaller cartons as it tends to get eaten all at once!.

Buy a commercial freezer as they operate at lower temps!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

put a plastic film on the ice cream so that there would be no space for the icecycles(!?) to form!. always worked for meWww@FoodAQ@Com

Keep tightly sealed and dont let it get tooooooooo cold!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Eat it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
