Yes !!Many years ago in Vero Beach, FL on hwy A1A south, there was a great restaurant called P!. V!. Martin's which served alligator!. It had a taste similiar to frog legs, was very tender and well prepared with a cajun flavor!. Unfortunately, the restaurant was oceanside and a series of tropical storms and hurricanes washed away enough land that the place could no longer exist!. We went down to the spot but the restaurant had been demolishedWww@FoodAQ@Com

On a stick with peanut sauce!. It was OK!. A cross between Chicken for texture and wild muddy tasting catfish for flavor!.!.!.covered in peanut sauce!

I recommend it at least once to say you have eaten it!. I think Emu and Ostrich are much better as is Kangaroo roast!.

Capybara and Iguana's are tasty as well if Barbeque spit roasted with lots of garlic and chili's!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes! Alligator bites! I had it at a restaurant in Florida! It was breaded and tasted like chewy chicken! I could only eat one piece because it grossed me out! I kept picturing a big scaly beast in muddy water! How the hell can a person eat a breaded scaly, muddy ,beast!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Last summer I ordered alligator fries when we were on holiday in New Orleans - I was thinking it would be real alligator and was somewhat excited!.

It turned out to be french fries cut in the shape of alligators!. Boo!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, it was spit roasted over a fire!. It's a white meat like chicken but a little more dense and rubbery than chicken!. It was also a bit gamey with a fishy kinda smell!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
