Hi
Good question, the calorie count is in the raw product because it would depend on HOW you cook it as to how many calories are removed!. eg, Roast beef (well done no fat and brown all through / medium, pink in the middle and rare, running with blood when cut!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

People weigh portions or you can say:this is 4 ounces of meat or chicken, but you count the calories after it's prepared and ready to eat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

many times, calorie counters will say whether the food is cooked or not!. I think it's usually cooked!.!.!.at least that's what you want to know!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
