Answers:
Honey can NOT always be substituted for sugar in many recipes where the honey would then be cooked, so you do have to be carefull about how much you use!. You would be better off using less honey and adding something else that is naturally sweet as a substitute for the rest of the sugar!.!.!.such as cooked mashed carrots, applesauce or orange or apple juice!.
Here's a good one to try:

Applesauce-Raisin Cookies
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup honey
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup unbleached flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp cloves
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup raisins - dark or golden

Mix the oil and honey together!. Add the egg and beat until light!. Blend the vanilla and applesauce!. Stir the flours, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, oats, and raisins into the creamed mixture!. Blend well!. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly oiled baking sheets!. Bake at 375F for 10 minutes, cool on a wire rack!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

go ahead and cut the sugars, but know this honey IS a sugar!!! You are not cutting out any sweets by subing the honey for the sugar!.

All plants that are used for food sources are Carbohydrate rich!. Carbohydrates turn into sugar in the digestive tract!.

The only unhealthy thing about sugar in foods is that we tend to eat way too much of it!.

ONE cookie about 2 inches across IS a serving!! not the whole batch!.

So to cut down the amount of sweets you eat, just have one little cookie per day!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
