Home made ice pops?!

Question: Home made ice pops!?
Most of the recipes I see for home made ice pops include gelatin, Jello, or something similar!. Why!? Can they be made from Kool Aid alone, without the gelatin!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I would think that the gelatin/jello product would keep the ice pop from freezing hard like an ice cube would!. You can make them with just Kool Aid alone I used to do it all the time as a child just remember not to fill up your mold all the way because when the liquid freezes it expands!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes i make it for my children in the neighborhood all the time !. at a wal mart they have little cartons and they come with plastic popsicle sticks !. when you get that , you can put coke in one slot of the carton , dr pepper , any kinds o juices etc !. then put the sticks in the drinks and then freeze them untill they're frozen , and then they taste like the drink you froze !. hope that help :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes! My kids make them out of kool-aid, apple juice, lemonaide, anything sweet that you can drink you can freeze into pops! We have even used an ice cube tray and stick little sticks in when the cubes get crunchy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can make ice pops from fromage frais mixed with fruit! Or stripey pops by freezing each layer of juice, the kids love making these!Www@FoodAQ@Com

here's an idea!.!.

buy ice lolly makers and fill them up with flavoured squash e!.g!. orange or blackcurrant
and freeze themWww@FoodAQ@Com

Yes they can!. You can make ice pops with anything!Www@FoodAQ@Com
