Answers:
yes it like a real pie!.!.!.something like an apple pie but instead on apples, you use sweet potatoes!. Depending on how you make it, it can even taste like a desert or it can be served as a main dish!. You can make it with a sweet pie crust or a crust like you use to make quiche!. Usually, when sweet potato pie is served as a desert, it is usually mixed with ingredients such as rhubarb and sometimes even fruits!. But, in general, it is served as a main course meal with a unsweetened crust!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's a southern thing!. Usually it's got an inner texture that's soft and sorta fluffy, like mashed potatoes (but creamier and orange and sweet), and the outside is usually a little caramelized with sugar!. Often it has pecans on it and brown sugar and / or whipped cream or ice cream!.

It's super sweet and is really delicious!. Rich and very filling though!. also I'm sure it's loaded with calories!.
