Should I, and would you, eat pork and beans direct from the can, or on a sandwich?!
I have no clean plates!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am guessing that if you don't have enough energy to wash a plate, then you probably don't have enough to try this either, but a pork and bean sandwich is really good on white bread, with fried bacon and melted cheese!. Anyway, yes I would eat pork and beans out of the can if I was camping or the electricity went out!. Otherwise, I used to eat cold pork and beans on white bread when I was a kid!. So, my answer to both your questions, would be "Yes"!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
There are no bacteria inside a properly sealed can!. However, you should wash the outside of the can well, and your can opener, before opening the can!. !.
In this extreme case however, you might consider paper plates!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
