Question: I am having a little party and I am not sure if I am serving cheese as an appetizer or as part of the main!?
course!. Can you tell me how much cheese per person I will need and what kind to look for!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Three ounces per person if it’s an appetizer, 6 ounces per person if it’s the main event!.

Choose four cheeses with a variety of milks, regions, and textures!. For example:
A medium-aged Manchego (Spain, semifirm, sheep)
Redwood Hill Bucheret (California, semisoft, goat)
Prima Donna (Netherlands, hard, cow)
Gorgonzola dolce (Italy, soft, cow)

One ounce is a serving of cheese! Actually it is 3/4 ounce but the difference is a taste!?

I would use cheeses as part of both!! There are so many delicious cheeses in the deli cases!.

Savory cheese for appetizer course
mild cheese with whatever for meal
sweet for desserts with fruit!.

Cheese tasting is a very interesting and fun event you might want to try with your friends!.

You will need dull flavored crackers - they are for cleansing palate and getting the last flavor cheese off tongue!. Water to keep everything from being way too dry!. and a huge variety of cheeses diced up on platters!. You could add some diced fruits like apples, pears, peaches, melons to this for a great event!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

sounds great!. can i come!? do the cheese thing right at the end!. as for what cheeses!.!.!.

perhaps a mixture of hard, softer and really runny!.

Hard - Red Leicester or Edam or Cheddar
Softer - a goat's cheese or Stilton or Cambozola
Runny - Epoisses (the best cheese ever) or Camembert or Brie
