Does it make the seafood go off!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
if you're going to eat staight away - it would be ok, but if it's going to sit around for a while, I wouldnt do it - the warm rice (depending on how warm) could partially cook the fish, but wont completely cook it, which is bad for any meat - or if it's only a little warm - it's still warm enough to promote bacteria growth!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Nope sushi is ONLY rice wrapped in a seaweed paper
sashimi is fish (or can be seafood!.) with the rice wrapped in a seaweed paper however they are traditionally served chilled or cold , at least the one I have had were

No if you eat it straight away it's fine!. You're supposed to let it cool down because it gives time for the vinegar to mix and the rice to harden a bit more so not as sticky when you make itWww@FoodAQ@Com

The Sushi Is Warm also!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it might melt the seaweed a little bit with the steamWww@FoodAQ@Com
