Don't tell anyone, but last week I put some !.!.!.!.!. (shhhh!)!.!.!.!.(((mustard))))!.!.!. ON MY HAMBURGER! Wow, I feel better now that it's out in the open!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I gave up eating 'hot dogs' over 12 years ago !.!.!. I do eat sausages, though, and I like 'changing up' on the condiments!. I usually like the sausage plain (I don't even like eating them in buns) or with saurkraut and occasionally a bit of brown mustard (I LOVE 'stone ground' mustard, and also mustard mixed with horseradish)!. When we go out to a 'hot dog stand' we usually order the bratwurst !.!.!. they have a 'Chicago style' with mustard, ketchup, tiny dill pickles, and chopped onions!. That's good, but only occasionally!.
When my husband makes hamburgers, he likes putting things 'in the middle' of the burger !.!.!. sometimes cheddar, sometimes gorgonzola, or Swiss, or pepper jack or even cojito cheese!. He likes ketchup, but I don't !.!.!. and I like mustard and horseradish (sometimes a LOT Of horseradish) on my burgers!. Neither of us like putting fried onion rings onto a burger or dog !.!.!.!. especially one in a bun!. We love fried onion rings, but order them separately!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

on hotdogs, i've put: relish, sourkraut (sp), all different kinds of mustards, ketchup, mayo, bbq sauce (not all at the same time, of course! haha)

on hamburgers: mayo, thousand island dressing (it's just like the special sauce at In N Out), bbq sauce, mustard, ketchup, relish, pickles, bacon, cheese, tomato!. I think the best burger I've had at a restaurant was something like the Three Cheese burger--it had provolone, gorganzola, and swiss cheese and was absolutely delicious!. YOu really can't go wrong with burgers--i mean, look at Carl's Jr--they're putting Guacamole on one of their Six-Dollar Burgers!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't eat a lot of hamburgers and absolutely no hotdogs, but since I'm in Germany, I've been known to eat a sausage or two!.!.!. usually with chili or mustard!.

Hamburgers are fun! You can put all sorts of veggies on them, or eggs, or apple slices (yeah, apple slices), pickles, BBQ sauce or ranch!.!.!. sometimes veggie burgers, or tofu with sprouts!.!.!. you can put bacon on them, or various spices in the meat!. I usually stick with sprouts, ranch, all the veggies I can stuff between the bun and the beef!. yum!

Oh! And cheese!. Lots of types of cheese!.!.!. each goes with different condiments!.!.!. blue cheese with the apples, cheddar with regular condiments, irish hard cheese with sprouts or chicken, swiss with bacon!.!.!. cheese is wonderful!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sometimes I give hot dogs the "Mexican food" treatment-- I put guacamole, sour cream, cheese, olives and salsa on my hot dog and then wrap the whole thing in a flour tortilla!. Crazy tasty stuff!. ^_^Www@FoodAQ@Com
