Scoop your ice cream into 1 1/2 inch balls!. Put on freezer to freeze really hard!.
Meanwhile prepare batter for doughnuts:

Donuts Recipe

Ingredients for Donuts
3 tablespoons shortening
2/3 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
2/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon grated nutmeg
? teaspoon salt
3 cups flour
5 teaspoons baking powder
Powdered sugar

Instructions
Cream shortening and sugar!.
Add the beaten egg!.
Stir in the milk!.
Add the nutmeg, salt, flour and baking powder!.
Make a dough stiff enough to be rolled!.
Roll out on floured pastry board to a thickness of about 1/4 inch!.
Cut out with doughnut cutter!.

Wrap each circle of sough around a frozen ice cream ball!. Seal well!

Fry in deep hot fat!.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cut open favorite donut (like you would a bagel)

Place 2 scoops of favorite ice cream on bottom half of donut!. Place top have of donut on top of ice cream!.

Donut, ice cream sandwich!.

I can buy ice cream fat-free, not so much for doughnuts!. Ice cream can cool you down on a hot day, doughnuts just dry up and get stale!. Ice cream wins!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com
