How can ASDA & Tesco advertise they are open 24hours when its closed on a saturdy and sunday night?!

They advertise that they are open 24 hours a day, but if you go to a Tesco express, or any particular branch selected at random, the chances are they could be closing at 9PM!.
I don't think they should be closing at 4PM on sunday, I'm aware that it is law, but newsagents and off licences can be open late, sunday night!.
But why open Monday morning at 8 or 9, why not open at 12:00 midnight, or perhaps 1AM!.
Did you know !? they're actually open for 1 hour for browsing, and no tills are supposed to be open, but I bet if you went to customer services, they may serve you, or infact a till may be open for you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I worked for ASDA for 26 years and it is only the large Stores that open 24 hours from monday to Friday The reason they dont open 24hours on Saturday is because Sunday starts at midnight and that is the Sbbath Day and even though it is not fopen for a full day they are allowed to open for just 6 hours which is Tenoclock to fouroclock!. I know Tesco are the same because there is one very cloce to where I liveWww@FoodAQ@Com
They are open 24 hrs!!
Between Monday and Saturday!.
Surely everyone in the UK know there are severe limits to the hours they are allowed to open on Sundays!!
Like Noon till Five or something!. (Or as NOOO says 4pm)
Some of the "Local" or Express" stores open for longer hours but they aren't actually the same companies as the bigger stores!.
They are franchises!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There are laws that say a store cannot be open 24hours through the weekend sunday trading first started in the 1990's and stores can only be open for about 6hours stores that claim to be open 24hours infact state under the large 24hour sign they are open 24hours monday to fridayWww@FoodAQ@Com
Because the trading laws say they cannot!. I know they have to close at 4pm Sunday!.
But I like it I can buy beer any time of the day or night when they are open now!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
