I just made some taco meat (ground beef type) and I realized I put too much salt in it!.!.!.!.!.I made my own "seasoning packet"!.

Answers:
add some water and a cubed raw potato!.!.!. the potato will take out the salt!.

By the way the potato will taste great!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could brown up another pound of meat, and mix it in with the overly seasoned meat !.!.!. that's what I'd do!.

Or maybe you could turn it into a pot of chili with beans and tomatoes added to cut the salt!. A cut-up potato thrown in the pot will absorb a lot of the salt!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The only thing I can think of is to add more meat to dilute the seasoning!. You can refrigerate or freeze the extra taco meat for later!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

When i make tacos, i usually add a little of bbq sauce!. It is very tasty and takes away from the saltness of the meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Salt is strong!.

throw it away and go to Taco Bell!!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

stir in a can of refried beansWww@FoodAQ@Com
