A year!?
Well it should be fine, until you see green fuzzies on it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

With all food (no exceptions) bacteria, harmless or lethal begins to grow 45 seconds after its tempature falls below 160 degree farenheit!.

I would not ever recommend eating anything that is not in a very tightly sealed container after 3 hours!.

And nothing at all after 3 months!.

Meat is something that takes extra special precaution, do not eat cooked meat that is older than one week old and never cook meat that is more than 2-4 days past its experation date!.

also look for color or smell irregularities in your food this can show a sign of bacterial growth!.

Best of luck stay healthy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Please don't eat that rice! Rice actually goes bad within 3 months!. It starts to grow little microscopic bugs and it can have them at the time the rice is purchased at the store if it has been on the shelf too long!. Make sure you always check dates and don't keep it too long any where in the house!. Rice is cheap, so to be safe always buy as fresh as you can when you need it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Of course it is!. Even five year old rice is fine refrigerated or not, does not matter!. So go ahead eat all you like!. If you feel uncomfortable about this when friends or family come over simply do not tell them in case you serve some to them!. It is like rehydration add boiling water let stand and serve!. taste great!. enjoy!.

PS/ Should it be a different colour such as greenish grey just add a little peroxide to help whiten again!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you're saying the rice has been in your fridge cooked for a long time, then toss it!.
If it's been uncooked, then it's fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
