How long should a chicken last for in a chest freezer ?!

Question: How long should a chicken last for in a chest freezer !?
because i put one in yesterday & it was dead this morning !?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
There are a number of variables:
the size of the chicken
its general health (presumably a sick chicken won't last as long)
its lung capacity
the efficiency of gas transferral in its lungs
the oxygen carrying capacity of its red blood cells
the temperature difference between it and the freezer temp!.
its will to live (debatable, with a chicken)
the capacity of the freezer
the efficiency of the door seal
the possibility of a power cut (remote)
I'm sure there's more, so please chip in as you think of them!!!!!!!!!!!
