Question: Is this safe to eat!? Please respond
I am real hungry and I wanted to make this Three cheese shrimp with pasta and on the back of the box it says under the ingredents in a little box "Contains shrimp, milk, soy and wheat" but then underneth that it says "May contain wheat, fish, mollusks, and other crustacean shellfish" And my mom is highly allergic to shellfish and she doesn't know if i am cause i've never had it!. But i dont understand, all i see is shrimp in the package, i dont see any other seafood!. What does shellfish look like!? And could there be shellfish in shrimp or something!? Should i cook this meal!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you have had shrimp before, and experienced no problems, then you should be fine!. The disclaimer on the box is usually because it is processed in the same plant as other items, which could possibly get in there somehow!.!.!.!.the amount would be so minuscule, I don't think it will be an issue!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

if you can eat shrimp, you are safe!. shrimp and crabs are shell fish, or crustaceans!. oysters, clams, mussels, scallops, are mollusks or bivalves!. i love them allWww@FoodAQ@Com

shrimp is shell fish the shrimp must have been proccesed in a factory that also contained those kind of fishWww@FoodAQ@Com
