Is one piece of toast with raspberry jam enough for breakfast to hold me off til lunch?!

Question: Is one piece of toast with raspberry jam enough for breakfast to hold me off til lunch!?
Answers:
Not really!. I am a diabetic and my nurse is complaining that 2 pieces of toast and an egg is not enough for breakfast!

Any meal, breakfast included should contain carbohydrate (toast, porrige, cereal) but not so much sugar!. Protein from eggs, bacon etc and a bit of fat, a scraping of butter or marge on your toast is fine - but only a scraping! And plenty of vitamins - ie from fruit!.

I know a lot of people hate eating at that time of the morning, but believe me it is the best thing for you!. I know when I have not had enough because I start having hypos at around 11am - 12 pm!. I am fphysically very active though not fast! But the body, healthy or not needs energy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

thats usually what I have in the morning, except i have marmite on my toast!. then i have a banana at about 11 and then im all set till lunch!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's better to add some thing high in protein like egg as jojo said!.It is good for having powerful muscles!.Don't forget milk!.=)Www@FoodAQ@Com

It will probably leave you hungry in an hour or two!. I would add some protein!. Like an egg!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
